There are a dozen words in the New Testament that are used to speak, in some way, about prayer. Some of the words and ideas are fairly broad; some, however, are quite specific.
One of those very specific words is the word translated “intercession” or “intercede.” Most Christians have some sense of what this word might mean and what kind of praying is in view. But for many, the idea of intercession lacks clarity.
This two-evening intensive will look at the few places where that language is used and, building on those texts, seek to explore what it means to intercede, why it matters, and how we might become more effective “intercessors.”
The class will meet online for two consecutive Tuesday evening, April 20 and 27, at 6:30pm (EST). Although there is no cost for the class, you will still need to register so that you can be contacted with the information you will need to sign up for the Zoom class.Register Now
