Although you read it, are you really familiar with what you have in the New Testament? What treasures are there for you in the books that make up the New Testament?
“I am taking New Testament Survey and it has created a thirst in me to read Scripture unlike I’ve ever had before! I am seeing so many details in the stories that I’ve never seen on previous readings. God has so blessed us by preserving His Word for us through the centuries. And He is so good to continue to speak to us through it!” (From a recent participant in “Making Sense of the New Testament.”)
This survey course hosted by The River provides basic background helpful in understanding each book, but the real focus of this class is on introducing you to the “flavor” and message of each book. Come enhance your familiarity with the New Testament, discover how to see Jesus in every book, and have your appetite stirred for the feast that awaits you in the New Testament.
This course meets for six consecutive Thursday evenings, beginning March 26, meeting from 6:30 until 8:30 each evening. (March 26, April 2, 9, 16, 23, 30)
