Like many of His followers, two of Jesus’ disciples longed for “greatness”—they wanted to live lives that mattered. They wanted to live significant, for Christ’s sake and for the sake of the Kingdom. Jesus wasn’t opposed to that. He even invited them to pursue “greatness” (see Mark 10:41–45). And Jesus invites us all to that kind of greatness, measured by our understanding of how to serve others like He Himself did. But just what would “Kingdom greatness” look like?
In a two-evening class, The River will offer an exploration of servant leadership. We will listen to Jesus as He teaches us about greatness, servanthood, and kingdom life, drawing on passages in the Gospel. If you are a small group leader, an elder or pastor, or simply a follower of Jesus who longs to catch a fresh vision of what it means to live like Jesus, these two Thursday evenings, November 7 and 14, are designed for you.
Past participants have said that this class “changes every relationship” and is “one of the most life-changing classes I have ever taken.”Register Now
