Although there is just one “Gospel”–the “good news” about who Jesus is and all that He has done for us–we do have four Gospels. Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John write four accounts of Jesus and His ministry; but these are not contradictory accounts. The four Gospels give us four different vantage points on the one amazing “good news” about the Savior.
Although the Gospels tell much of the same narrative, there are differences. And one fo the places where those difference can be seen is in the endings. Each of the four ends a bit differently. This course explores each of the Gospel’s endings, in the hope of capturing the emphasis of each and seeing how the four endings work together to give us a sense of the commission Jesus left for all His followers.
The course will meet online on two evenings–May 4 and 11–starting each evening at 6:30 pm.
