Jesus told His followers that they were to be His “witnesses”–they were to go into the whole world and share what Jesus taught them about the breaking in of His kingdom (Matthew 28:18–20; Acts 1:1–8). Many contemporary followers of Jesus understand this commission that has been given to the church, but many have questions about how best to step into Jesus’ call.
Rather than proposing a particular program or plan, this class will explore the book of Acts to look at the kind of witness evident there. We’ll learn to share the “good news” by watching how it was done by the earliest friends and followers of Jesus.
The course will meet for four consecutive Tuesday evenings–January 23, 30, February 6, 13–starting each evening at 6:30 pm. We’ll be meeting at OB Hospitalist Group Offices just off Butler Road, between Mauldin High School and 385.
Although there is no charge for this class, we do ask you to register so that we can plan accordingly.Register Now
